Play Smear

The game uses a larger-print playing card and certain elements have been adjusted in an attempt to make the site easier to read on tablets and phones.

I finally isolated and resolved a problem with random network errors that was causing a variety of different bugs on the site. I apologize for how long this took to find; thank you to everyone who reported issues!

By popular demand, a new game mode has been added: the ability to require a winning bid to go out. More details can be found in the "View Rules Of Smear" section. Let me know if it works out, eh?

Adding a "Show Score Graph" button that allows you to see a graphical representation of the game's score over time. This will only work for new games - old games won't have the necessary score data required to show how the scores have changed over time.

Two new features: games without teams will now automatically start, and buttons for starting another game or navigating home have been added to the "game over" screen.

For a while, the old playsmear.com site has been running and accessible at original.playsmear.com.  However, it costs additional money to keep that site running, so the plan has always been to get the new site working as well as the old site then shut down the old site.  We are getting close to that point, so if you notice any discrepancies between the old and new versions of the site, please let me know!
